Pauline Marie Allen, 71, of Allegan, MI passed away Monday, September 28, 2020 at Lakeside Vista in Holland. Born August 31, 1949 in South Haven, she was the daughter of the late Vernon and Esther (Cole) Sill. Pauline married Dennis E. Allen on February 20, 1971 and they celebrated thirty-nine years of marriage prior to his death in 2010. She had attended Central Michigan University and worked at Hillside Learning Center as a bus driver and teacher’s aid for many years. Pauline was a member of Allegan Assembly of God Church. While her girls were growing up she volunteered her time to be a 4H Leader where she taught young people about foods and cooking. Spending time with her grandchildren was Pauline’s greatest passion. Together they enjoyed gardening and cooking as well as traveling all around the world together. One of their favorite activities was playing Yahtzee together. Pauline was very involved in their lives and always made sure she was in the stands at every one of their sporting events. She also loved to play piano and watch gameshows; she never missed an episode of Wheel of Fortune.
Pauline is survived by her daughters, Dorie (Buzz) Galloway, Stephanie Allen (fiancé Kevin Kish) and Denise (Brent) Lane; brothers, William (Joann) Sill and Edward (Betty) Sill; sister-in-law, Vickie (Terry) Moored; grandchildren, Haley Galloway, Nicole Galloway, Esther Holloway, Dennis Holloway, Paxton Lane and Breslyn Lane; special niece and helper, Jodi Moored; and many other nieces and nephews. Along with her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her brother, Warren Sill.
