Carolyn “Sue” Zwiers, 74, of Fennville, passed away Monday, November 2, 2020 at Rest Haven Care Center in Holland. She was born June 3, 1946 to Wilbert and Wanda (McFadden) Johnson in Missouri. She married Edward Zwiers on May 29, 1965 in Benton Harbor. They shared 48 years in marriage. Sue was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who enjoyed spending her time with her grandchildren. Sue was an avid reader.
She is preceded in death by her husband.
Sue is survived by her children – Lisa Mattison, Dave and Michael Zwiers all of Grand Junction; siblings – Betty Synder of Kentucky and Joe Johnson of Florida; grandchildren – Andrew (Debbie) Zwiers, Amanda Zwiers, Emily Mattison, and David Zwiers, Jr.; great grandchildren – Jayden and Landon Zwiers, Astor and Axel Luna.
Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Sunday, November 8, 2020 at the Filbrandt Family Funeral Home in South Haven. Funeral services will follow the visitation at 2:00 PM.
