Donna Jean Oisten, 74, of Pinegrove Township went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, Nov. 5, 2016, at her home.
Mrs. Oisten was born in Allegan on Aug. 1, 1942, the daughter of the late Donald and Alberta (Stratton) Arndt. She was an Allegan High School Class of 1960 graduate. She was a member of Otsego Church of God for the past eight years and worked at Perrigo Company for more than 35 years.
Donna was a multifaceted person. She was a true caregiver to her family and friends, along with her church family. Being a wonderful cook, she enjoyed sharing her deliciously prepared food with others. Painting beautiful pictures was also one of her favorite pastimes.
She was a genuine person who brought joy to other's lives. Even during her battle with cancer, she wouldn't hesitate to do her best to make someone else's day better. Her generous spirit will be missed deeply.
Donna is survived by her three children, Leslie and Stephen Burrow, Violet and James Parsons and Audrey and John Fuller; eight grandchildren, David, Stephen, Jacob, Gabriel, Laura, Rachel, Bradley and Benjamin; four great-grandchildren, Easton, Candace, Caleb and Jaxyn; two sisters, Bonnie and Frank Franken and Cynthia Vana.
She was preceded in death by her husband David; brother Norman Arndt; and sister Peggy Weeks.
A celebration of life service will be Thursday, Nov. 10, at 11 a.m. at Otsego Church of God, Pastor Stephen Burrow officiating. Interment will be at Fort Custer National Cemetery, Augusta.
Memorial donations may be made in Donna's name to Wings of Hope Hospice and Otsego Church of God.
