Roland Frank, 69, of Holland passed away Friday, Nov. 4, 2016, after a brief battle with cancer.
Roland was born Nov. 20, 1946, in Bavaria, Germany, the son of Johann Frank and Regina Frank (Braun). Roland immigrated to the United States in 1953, and grew up in Saugatuck. He graduated from Saugatuck High School in 1965.
Roland was preceded in death by his parents; his sister Elvira; and his daughter Melissa.
Surviving are his wife Jocelyn Diamante Frank; his children, Adam (Sabrina) of Grand Haven, Joshua (Danielle) of Holland, and Angelica at home; sisters, Annelise Braun of Douglas, Elaine (Randy) Slikkers of Holland, Joan (Mitchell) Lacy of Fennville and Mildred Braun of Holland; parents-in-law, Ernesto and Rufina Diamante; and brother-in-law Aldrin of the Philippines. He is also survived by four grandchildren, four nieces, several cousins, aunts and uncles.
Roland enjoyed fishing, hunting and music.
Cremation has taken place. No funeral services are planned.
A celebration of life is planned for Saturday, Nov. 19, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the America Legion Hall in Saugatuck.
Memorial contributions will go to a trust fund established for Angelica Frank at Chase Bank.
