Jessie Lloyd Santee was born on May 7, 1929. He passed away at this home on Nov. 29, 2019.
Lloyd loved the outdoors. He loved to go fishing, hunting and always found something to do outside, whether it was cutting down trees to use for the home he and his wife built or just being in the house on a not so nice day watching all the deer and turkeys outside. Lloyd also enjoyed the company of his family and friends. He was a lifetime brother of the Masons and Eagles.
Lloyd was preceded in death by his father Harold and mother Lillian (Elder), his son Ronald, his two brothers Glen and Red (Howard) Santee, and sister Deloris Oisten.
He is survived by his wife of 63 years Joyce and their three children, Linda (Gerry) Klok, Bryan Santee and Sandi (Wayne) Savage; his six grandchildren, Ryan (Terry) Klok, Nathan (Jen) Klok, Lisa (Dan) Ouellette, KaSondra (Tom) Grandmason, Tabitha (Eric) VanOrder and Natasha (David) Grauman. He has 12 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Per his wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial will take place at 2 p.m. on Dec. 14 at the Allegan Eagles.
