Brian Lewis Krotz, 52, of Allegan passed away Sunday, Nov. 10, 2019, at Bronson Methodist Hospital.
Born Dec. 5, 1966, in Plainwell, he was the son of the late Harry William and Lorraine Jane (Nowaczyk) Krotz.
At the age of 18, Brian began working on cars and participating in demolition derbies; he rarely missed a show. He was also passionate about small engine repair and specialized in buying, fixing and selling snowmobiles, lawn mowers and motorcycles. He was particularly fond of his new motorcycle he recently purchased. Brian had worked for 20 years at Allegan Tubular Products.
He is survived by his sister, Diane (Tommy) Sumner; niece and nephews, Tracy (Zach) Kasprzyk, Tommy Lee Sumner and Travis Sumner; numerous cousins, especially Brenda, Georgette and Greg; and his life-partner, Denise Rose and her son, Aaron Rose.
Along with his parents, Brian was preceded in death by an uncle and three aunts, and Denise’s son, CJ Rose.
The family will receive friends at Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, on Saturday, Nov. 16, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. A funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Allegan Eagles Club.
