Dale Wilbur Boniface, 83, of Medford, Ore., passed away with family at his side the afternoon of Oct. 5, 2019.
Dale was the son of Orville and Lefa Boniface, the loving husband for 22 years of Helen (Pete) Boniface and the brother of Marlene Hoekstra.
Dale was preceded in death by his father, Orville William Boniface, mother Lefa (Jones) Boniface, brother Gale Boniface and brother-in-law Sierd Hoesktra.
Dale owned and operated a refrigeration company in Oregon for 20-plus years until retirement.
He enjoyed grooming and snowmobiling the trails of the Oregon mountains. In the summer, his gardens were the best and during every visit you had to see the ocean and redwoods.
Dale’s children are Denice Holcomb of Florida, Diane and Jack Whitcomb of Byron Center, Debra and Rod Stevenson of Plainwell, Daniel and Deborah (Martin) Boniface of Otsego, Paula and Kim Granger of Oregon and Eric and Stacey Evenson of Washington. Dale’s love for his nine grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren was very evident, even though most of them live in Michigan and visits were few.
It was Dale’s wish that his ashes remain on Oregon’s, Huckleberry Mountain.
