Phyllis Joan Lown, 81, of Allegan went to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, May 13, 2019, at Wings Home in Allegan.
Born June 10, 1937, she was the daughter of the late Claude and Fannie (Kilgore) Keeley and was the wife of the late Harold Amos Lown.
Mrs. Lown was retired from the Michigan Fruit Canners in Fennville after 45 years of employment.
She enjoyed watching Westerns alongside her furry companions, Scooter, Ace and Rumple. She and her son shared a love for the Detroit Tigers, Detroit Pistons and Michigan basketball.
Mrs. Lown was also a talented gardener and loved spending time tending to her flowers. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Mrs. Lown is survived by her son, Johnny Keeley and wife Debra; six step-children and their spouses, Ruth Hungerford and James Gardner, Gary and Linda Curtis, Jacqulyn Walker, Jack and Denise Shears, Lorn Shears and Nancy Jacobsen; a brother, Eugene Keeley and wife Barbara; two grandchildren, Tara Ann Spohn (Charles Strong) and Brody Keeley; one great-grandson, George Strong; 28 step-grandchildren; 45 step-great-grandchildren; three step-great-great-grandchildren; two nieces and five nephews.
In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Beatrice Keeley, Donald Keeley and Bernita (Glenn) Huckabee; and her stepson, Donald Shears
Friends may meet with the family from 11 a.m to 1 p.m. at Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel on Friday, May 17, where the funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Interment will follow at Brookside Cemetery, Heath Township.
