Harry “Joe” Otto Radke Jr., 66, of Allegan passed away Saturday, April 27, 2019, at Wings of Hope Home.
Born Dec. 22, 1952, in Allegan, he was the son of the late Harry Otto Radke Sr. and Mary Grace (Walsh) Radke and was the husband of Andrea Jean (Holland) Radke.
Mr. Radke had been a delivery driver since in high school, starting with Culligan and ending with Avon products delivered to the “Avon Ladies.”
Harry was a huge music fan and collected vinyl records, 8-track tapes, cassette tapes, CDs and finally back to vinyl records again throughout his lifetime. He had over 1,000 vinyl albums and was always on the search for more at record stores and rummage sales. Classic rock, especially The Beatles, was his favorite, but he collected all genres and loved to research the history of the musicians.
Harry also enjoyed taking long rides while listening to music. He was also a big fan of the early James Bond movies and firmly believed that Sean Connery was the best to ever play the role of 007.
In addition to his wife Andrea of 32 years, Harry is survived by a son Dylan Cody Radke; a brother, David “Butch” (Debbie) Radke; sister-in-law, Audrey (Steve) Dominique; brother-in-law, Rick (Teresa) Holland; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
