Angie J. VanSlambrouck, 40

Angie J. VanSlambrouck

June 19, 1977—April 17, 2018

You fell in love the minute you met Angie with her sparkling eyes, crazy laugh and sense of humor. She gave us miles of smiles. She was one of a kind.

Her hair ... buns, braids, ponytails or, uh-oh, it’s down! (Carissa:) She wore black, except for her Red Wings gear. She made us laugh, cry and think outside the box.

If you mentioned her name, you heard “Angie? I love her.” We all do, we always will. Her radiant self will always be missed.

Angie graduated with honors from Fennville High School and attended GVSU where she consistently made the Deans List.

Known as a Rock Star in the hospitality industry, she worked many years at Wally’s in Saugatuck and was most recently happily employed at the Pullman Tavern.

Angie passed away unexpectedly in her sleep at her father’s home near Hutchins Lake.

She is survived by her mother Jeannie (Duff) VanSlambrouck; father Clay VanSlambrouck; step-mother Mari Ellen; step-sisters Tammy and Debby; brother Allie and chosen sister Kate Kingstad; along with several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. She was the only child of Jean and Clay.

We need to emulate her passion and make this world a better place in her honor. If you look up you will see her, jetting around, telling us to smile laugh and love each other. Love ’n Light Ang!

Some people come into our lives and quickly go

Some people move our souls to dance.

They awaken us to new understanding with the passing whisper of their wisdom

And make the sky more beautiful to gaze upon.

Some people stay in our lives a while, leave footprints on our hearts,

And we are never, ever the same.

This is you Angie Girl !

An epic Celebration of Life will be Sunday, June 10, from 1 to 5 p.m., at 2366 Lakeshore Dr., Fennville MI 49408 (Harringtons).
