Michelle Marie Nolan, 59, of Onekama, died Tuesday, July 12, 2016, at home with her husband by her side. She was born Feb. 10, 1957, in Rochester, N.Y., the daughter of Phillip and Mary (Cammaratta) Dovico.
Michelle earned her undergraduate degree from Arizona State University in 1981 and in 1983, her master's degree. Michelle worked as an administrator for 32 years for the State of Alaska Department of Social Services.
Michelle was a gifted artist who loved to take photos and paint. She had recently taught herself to play the piano. Most of all, Michelle loved to spend time with her husband.
In December of 1984, at Holy Family Cathedral, in Anchorage, Alaska, Michelle married John Kennedy Nolan who survives her. She is also survived by her brother, Greg (Peggy) Dovico of Litchfield Park, Ariz.
Michelle was preceded in death by her parents and by her sister, Trudy Kelly.
A celebration of Michelle's life will be held at a later date.
