Judy Lynne Wynne, 75, passed away on Sunday, Nov. 5, 2017, at St. Joseph Mercy Hospital in Ypsilanti. She was born June 20, 1942, in Allegan, to Maurice Liechti and Juanita (Commans) Liechti. She married the late Edwin Wynne on June 6, 1964.
After graduating from Allegan High School, Judy went on to get her nursing degree. She worked as a registered nurse for much of her life, always showing care and compassion to her patients and making a difference in their lives.
A loving sister, aunt, mother and grandmother, Judy is survived by her two sisters, Elaine and Peggy; four children, Mark, Scott, September and Ed; six grandchildren, Ethan, Llewellyn, Callie, Taver, Rowan and Brielle; and her nephew Zack. More than anything, Judy loved spending time with her grandkids. They were the light of her life and of whom she was especially proud.
Judy has been cremated and will be laid to rest in Hudson Corners Cemetery alongside her husband Edwin.
A memorial service will be later this year in the Allegan area.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Judy’s name are encouraged to either the American Diabetes Association or the Humane Society of Huron Valley.
