Nicky C. Huff, 72, of Allegan passed away Friday, June 17, 2016, at the Allegan County Medical Care Community.
Nicky was born Jan. 11, 1944, in Allegan the son of Mitchell and Eliza Huff and had lived the majority of his life in the Bangor, Glendale and Allegan areas.
He retired after nearly 29 years of service with Rockwell International and had owned the Tar Paper Shack in Allegan for many years.
He enjoyed fireworks, flea markets, garage sales and going to the dog track. He also enjoyed playing cards and riding motorcycles.
Surviving are his wife of 40 years, Dorothy "Dollie;" seven children, Brenda (Ken) Breon of Allegan, Lisa Martin of Allegan, Penny (Doug) Barnes of Allegan, Tracey (Lori) Jorgensen of Texas, Pam, Tim (Paula) of North Carolina and Troy (Phoebee) Jorgensen of South Haven; 23 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; a sister, Sharon Lauer of Illinois; two brothers, Art (Bette) Huff of Gobles and Barney Huff of Bloomingdale; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister Connie Huff; and a brother-in-law John Lauer.
Following his wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be at the Eagles Lodge in Allegan at a later date.
The family would like to greatly thank the staff at the Allegan County Medical Care Facility for the wonderful care they provided to Nicky and his family.
