Vickie was born on July 8, 1955, in Allegan, daughter of Arnold "Hootch" and Marian (Porter) Jones.
Vickie was raised in the Otsego area and married Mark Hofacker of Plainwell on July 27, 1996. She spent her days as a shift manager for Wendy's. She loved taking care of her customers. Her passion was her concession stand (Vic's Intersection) at Dutch Sport Park in Bloomingdale, where Miss Vickie loved serving hot coffee, Icee popsicles and candy!
Vickie enjoyed spending time with her husband while riding their Harley. She also loved spending quality time around family, raising her dogs, camping and bonfires.
Vickie was preceded in death by her father, Arnold "Hootch" and her brother, David Jones.
She is survived by her mother Marian Jones; her husband Mark Hofacker; her children, Michelle (Josh) Bowers, Melisse Hughes (Mark), Michael (Trina) Hughes, Matthew Hofacker (Katie) and Ruthann Bennett (JT); 18 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; her brothers and sisters, Bob (Terri) Jones, Robin (Ken) Davis, Arnold (Nora) Jones, Bruce (Ruthann) Jones and Diane (Danny) Conner; and all their families.
Vickie was a very generous, kind and loving person, always putting others before herself. She could put a smile on anyone's face and could make a friend with a perfect stranger. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
A celebration of life will be at a later date. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to a local humane society.
