Dorene K. Crisman, 56, of Allegan passed away Friday, Dec. 23, 2016, at her home. Born Dec. 5, 1960, in Allegan, she was the daughter of the late Howard and Frances (Michaels) Crisman.
Dorene was a graduate of Otsego High School and a member of Passion Hill Community Church. She worked for Menasha Corporation in Otsego for about 22 years.
In her spare time, she enjoyed riding her motorcycle and taking her chances at the casino. Being such a social butterfly, Dorene had a personality that was hard not to like. She put everyone at ease with her kindness. Spending time with her family was a highlight in her life.
Dorene is survived by her children, Keka and Grant Kern, Daniel and April Holly; seven grandchildren, Craig, Kaleigh, Matthew, Timothy, Tyler, Deegan and AshLee; two brothers, Terry Crisman and George Crisman; five sisters, Carol and Harry Rutherford, Nancy Crisman, Debbie Crisman, Sharon Collins and Roxanne and Russ Veldkamp; and many nieces and nephews whom she loved like her own kids.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Charlie Crisman, Herb Crisman and Stub Crisman; and one sister Donna Hicks.
A memorial service will be Saturday, Dec. 31, at 12 p.m. at Passion Hill Community Church, 206 Russell St., Allegan; Pastor Daniel Holly will officiate.
Memorial donations may be made in Dorene's name to Wings of Hope Hospice, 530 Linn St., Allegan, MI 49010.
