She married William A. Leversee and they had four children, Evonne, William A. Leversee Jr. (Bud), Betty, and Robin.

She expanded on her quilting and crocheting skills, making many quilts for her family, as well as afghans or whatever else might come to her mind. Whether she was square dancing, arranging bridge, taking time for fellowship at church, sharing a favored dish at the potluck, or singing in the Vista Grande Chorus, she offered her friendship to others. She loved to travel near and far and enjoyed many a happy adventure in the RV.

A memorial service to honor her life will be at 2 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 22, at The Grande Room, Vista Grande Villa, 2251 Springport Road, Jackson, MI 49202, (517) 787-0222. Donations in her name are suggested to Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation or Christian Appalachian Foundation.
