Larry Selby, 68, of Allegan, passed away on March 4, 2020 at Ely Manor under the loving care of his family and Heartland Hospice. The son of Robert & Joanne (Ickler) Selby, he was born on Sept. 6, 1951, in Allegan.
Larry worked for Lifesavers in Holland for over 30 years and retired from Parker-Hannafin. He had a passion for farming which he shared with his son and grandson. He often shared this past time by taking his grandson to the weekly livestock auction. Larry also enjoyed hunting. He will be remembered for the numerous silly pranks he would pull on his grandkids. Larry most enjoyed time with family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Donny Selby; and sister, Juanita Munger. Surviving are his daughter, Leann & Arden Adams; son, Sam Selby; grandchildren, Brandon Riley, Emma Riley, and Faith Selby; siblings, Floyd & Roxanne Selby, Keith & Paulette Selby, Lois DeVriendt, Barb & Mark Russell, Sally & Bruce Brinks, and Daryl Selby.
Committal Services will be Saturday, March 28, at 11 a.m. at the New Salem Cemetery, Burnips.
