Christine Louise Galbreath, 68, of Allegan passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, Dec. 24, 2019, at Ascension Borgess Medical Center.
Born April 19, 1951, in Allegan, she was the daughter of the late Frank Joseph and Edna Jean (Dieble) Ratulowski and was the wife of Robert James Galbreath.
Christine had worked for Perrigo for over 30 years as a packaging specialist. She was a generous and loving wife, mother, sister and friend. An avid gardener, she also loved to take long walks with her husband and to hunt for bargains at garage sales. She was known for sharing her well-loved desserts for the holidays and family events.
In addition to her husband of 48 years, Robert, Christine is survived by her daughter, Heather Galbreath and fiancé Andrew Schaefer; 13 siblings, Janet, Sue, Dottie, Rosie, Jon, Matt, Russ, Steve, Bonnie, Connie, Colleen, Sandy and Joe; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
In accordance with her wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be Jan. 11, 2020, at 1 p.m. at Trestle Stop. Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, is assisting the family with arrangements.
