Molly Jean Saye, 81 of Gobles passed away Thursday, March 21, 2019, at Briarwood Assisted Living in Allegan.
Born July 22, 1937, in Cheshire Township, she was the daughter of the late Aubrey and Ardath McNutt and wife of Russell Marvin Saye.
Molly took great pride in the care she took of their home and enjoyed being able to stay home and raise her children on the farm. She provided much love and attention to her family and appreciated their time together.
She made her house a true home and a place that one always felt welcome to visit and knew that anyone would be greeted by a loving and caring woman. Her warmth and compassion will be greatly missed, but the wonderful memories will endure.
Molly is survived by her loving husband of 64 years, Russell “Marv”; their daughter, Karen (Gary) Brinks; grand- and great-grandkids; and two sisters, Sherry (Eric) Merry and Kay (David) Atz.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her son Dennis Saye.
Friends met with the family at Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, on Sunday, March 24. The funeral service was at Merson Church on Monday, March 25 with Pastor Don Miller and Pastor Alan Carson Sr., co-officiating. Interment took place at Mallory Cemetery, Trowbridge Township.
