Lorraine Agnes Southwell, 72

Lorraine Agnes Southwell, 72, our loving mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and friend, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Feb. 24, 2019. She was born Aug. 17, 1946.

She was preceded in death by her son John Livingston, father Marston Wagster and second husband Larry Southwell.

She drove bus for the Allegan Public Schools for 22 years, retiring in 2004. The special needs run was her favorite. 

Family was very important to her. She volunteered at Peace Lutheran Church where she attended. She lovingly cared for her aging mother, grandchildren and family. She enjoyed God’s beautiful creation. Cooking for those she loved, working in the garden, and solving crossword puzzles were her passions.

She is survived by her mother Ruth Wagster of Westland; siblings, Lorretta Gillock of Allegan and John Wagster of Westland; first husband Jack Livingston of Ludington; daughters, Sheila (Livingston) Keck (Scott) of West Haven, Conn., and Shelly (Livingston) Wedge (Karlton) of Allegan; grandchildren, Nathanael Keck of Nashua, N.H., Joshua Keck(Melinda) of Manchester, N.H., Ethan Wedge of Allegan, and Ellise Wedge of Allegan; along with many dear cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.

She will be greatly missed.

You can join the family as they celebrate her life on Saturday, March 9, at Peace Lutheran Church, 805 S. Wilmott St., Otsego, MI 49078. Greeting and expressing condolences with the family will begin at 10 a.m. The service begins at 11 a.m. with a luncheon to follow. Pastor Nathaniel Timmermann will officiate the service. 

Memorial donations may be made in Lorraine’s name to Wings of Hope Hospice www.wingsofhopehospice.com or Peace Lutheran Church, Otsego, www.peaceotsego.org.  Assisting the family with arrangements is Gorden Funeral Residence, www.gordenfuneral.com.
