Karon Elizabeth (Clegg) Knobloch, 72, of Knobloch’s Corners went to live with her Savior Jesus in her eternal heavenly home on Feb. 4, 2019. She was born to the late Eugene and Imogean Clegg on May 8, 1946, in Allegan.
Karon was a member of St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Hopkins. She worked as a bookkeeper at Hopkins Livestock Auction Yard, owned Hopkins Station pizza place and convenience store and assisted customers at Consumers Energy.
Karon served on the Monterey Township Board. She enjoyed painting and gardening.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 52 years, Peter Levi Knobloch.
Karon is survived by her three children, Sarah Lacy, Adam and Julie Knobloch and Aaron and Debbie Knobloch; eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren whom she deeply adored. She opened her heart and home to her nephew Glenn (Amanda) Winters and niece Amanda Weber and their four children. She is also survived by her siblings, Bonnie (Fred) Strand, Sandy Rankin, James (Fred) Clegg and Charlie Clegg and her sister-in-law Marg (Norm) Gras.
Friends and relatives may meet with the family at Gorden Funeral Residence, Hopkins Chapel, on Friday, Feb. 8, from 6 to 8 p.m. and at St. Paul’s Evangelical Lutheran Church on Saturday, Feb. 9, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. where the funeral service will be held at 12 p.m. Interment will be at Poplar Hill Cemetery, Monterey Township.
