Sharon Louise Kaechele Haffner ended her four-year battle with ovarian cancer on Jan. 7, 2019.
The daughter of Virginia and Walter Kaechele Jr. she was born March 25, 1937, in Kalamazoo.
She was a 1955 graduate of Plainwell High School were she met her husband Richard Haffner. The couple moved to Vassar, Mich., and raised three children, Deborah, Tami and Richard.
A divorce sent her to San Francisco to be with her daughter Deborah and her first grandchild Sharel.
It was in the city by the bay, that she found her heart in the form of Ceasar Acquino. Eventually the pair moved to Florida to care for her father and later her mother.
She is also survived by her siblings, Walter III and Cheryl (Barber) Kaechele, Jan and Jack Collins and Mary and Ray Seitz.
