Ken Hatten Sr., 76, of Allegan passed away Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2019, in Kalamazoo. He was born July 17, 1942, in Otsego, the son of George and Margarite (Rex) Hatten.
Ken had been a truck driver, carpenter and factory worker. He loved hunting, fishing, visiting nursing homes, bowling and following NASCAR.
Ken enjoyed organizing arts and craft projects at his apartment complex and spending time with his family and friends.
Surviving are his children, Jamie Briggs of Kalamazoo, George Briggs of Lawton, Jody Briggs of Kalamazoo, Donna Jo (Tommy) Coffee, Shawn Hatten, Kimberly Hayworth and Kenneth Jr. (Jennifer) Hatten, all of Indiana; many grandchildren; his siblings, Shirley, Doug, Roger and Barbara; along with many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Bud, Joe, George, Stormy, Jerry, Velma and Evelyn.
Friends may visit with Ken’s family on Saturday, Jan. 12, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Winkel Funeral Home, Otsego. Cremation will follow.
