Terene “Terry” Julius, 74, of Holland passed away July 27, 2018, at Spectrum Butterworth Hospital.
Terry was born in Pittsburgh to Joe and Emily Caliguiri on Feb. 25, 1944. She went on to study at Indiana University in Pennsylvania and Robert Morris College. She worked as a paralegal in Chicago for a number of years while her husband George was getting his MBA degree at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
Terry enjoyed gardening, entertaining, her book group, traveling, and enjoyed spending time at their residence in Carmel-by-the-Sea, Calif. She was involved as a board member and volunteer with Center for Women in Transition.
Terry is survived by her husband George P. Julius Jr. of Holland; her children Heather K. Julius of Portland, Ore., and Jason Julius of Holland; her grandchild Greta Terene Julius of Holland; and her siblings Robert Caliguiri (and wife Kate) of Macomb, Geary Caliguiri (and wife Mickey) of Lexington, Ky., Camille Brooks of Chalfont, Pa., and Marshelle Caliguiri (and husband Billy) of Perkasie, Pa.; and by dear friends, Richard Vince and Barry Peterson of Pebble Beach, Calif.
A funeral mass will be at Our Lady of the Lake Catholic Parish on Wednesday, Aug. 1 at 1 p.m. with Father Michael Cilibraise officiating. The mass will be followed by fellowship in the church hall immediately after the service. There will be no cemetery service.
