Lloyd Dunwiddie, 87, passed away on Saturday, July 14, 2018, at Wings of Hope Hospice in Allegan. Lloyd was born in 1930 to Henry and Grace Dunwiddie in Wells County, Indiana.
He served in the 919th Engineering Corps of the U.S. Army during the Korean War and later would graduate with honors from Purdue University with a degree in mechanical engineering. Lloyd was employed at General Electric for his entire career and in his spare time loved to fish, hunt, garden, golf and just be outdoors.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Ellen; his daughters Suzanne Hazen, Kelly Dunwiddie and Erin Dunwiddie; grandchildren Stephanie (Matthew) Angeles and Jared Hazen; and by a great-grandson Mason Lloyd Angeles.
A service to celebrate his life will be 1 p.m. on Friday, July 20, at First Presbyterian Church, 200 Cutler St., Allegan, MI 49010. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Allegan.
