Jean “Bobbie” Doornhaag, 94, of Gobles, passed away Monday, July 2, 2018, at Rose Arbor Hospice.
Born April 25, 1924, in Otsego, she was the daughter of the late Floyd and Mary (Huddleston) Martin. She was also preceded in death by her husbands, Alden Mowry and Arnold Doornhaag.
Mrs. Doornhaag worked for 17 years at Allegan General Hospital. She loved animals; dogs, cats and especially horses.
Mrs. Doornhaag is survived by her children, Tony (Marilyn) Mowry, Tim Mowry, Joni Mowry, William (Laura) Doornhaag, Daniel (Dawn) Doornhaag and Jacqueline Doornhaag; son-in-law Paul Harrison; grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Along with her parents and her husbands, she was preceded in death by her daughter Sandra Harrison, three brothers and two sisters.
A graveside service will be Friday, July 20, at 11 a.m. in Mountain Home Cemetery, Otsego.
