Edward Eugene Mottor Jr., 62, of Allegan went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, March 30, 2018.
Edward was born April 3, 1955, in Plainwell, the son of the late Edward and Ruby (McLaughlin) Mottor. He was known as a “Jack of All Trades” and could tackle any job that someone needed done.
He worked as a machine builder for the Prince Corporation until his retirement in 2000, which gave Edward more time to spend outdoors doing the things he truly enjoyed–camping, hunting and fishing. He was also a member of At The Master’s Feet Discipleship Ministry.
Edward leaves behind his loving wife Margaret; one son Robert (Brandy) Mottor; five grandchildren, Jayden, Cherish, Desiray, Tiffany and Jordyne; one great-grandchild Weston; two sisters, Bev Burnett and Connie (Kevin) Grimm; three nieces, Joyce, Ruth and Christine; one nephew Jake; and one grand-nephew Brandon.
In addition to his parents, Edward was preceded in death by his twins, Elizabeth Mottor and Eddie Mottor III.
Friends may meet with the family on Friday, April 6, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Gorden Funeral Residence, Allegan Chapel, where the memorial service will be held at 12 p.m., Pastor Ray Brown officiating. Inurnment will be at Miner Cemetery, Watson Township.
Memorial donations may be made in Edward’s name to At the Master’s Feet Discipleship Ministry to assist the family with expenses.
