Leland "Skip" Lenard, 78, of Salem Township, passed away July 3, 2016.
Skip served in the United States Navy. He retired after 41 years as a switchman for Conrail Railroad. He was a lifelong farmer and enjoyed his time outdoors.
Skip will be lovingly remembered by his wife Mary Lou Lenard; his children, Renee (Larry) Wilson, Lenny Lenard (Tammy Maat), Lorrie (Rick) Jones, and Lisa (Wade) Weber; his grandchildren, Joe (Heather) Lenard, Jena (Nolan) Correll, Stephanie Lenard, Ben Lenard (Emily Sexton), Brian Weber, Cody Weber, Lacey Wilson and Lexie Wilson; his great-grandchildren, Brody, Maci and Hannah Correll, Layton and Madison Lenard; his brother Ronald (Janet) Lenard; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Mary Lenard; his son Rick Lenard; and his brother and sisters, Kenneth Lenard, June Norman, Ruth Hilaski and Donna Graczyk.
Friends visited the family on Thursday, July 7. A Mass of Christian burial was Friday, July 8, at St. Mary's Visitation Catholic Church. Interment followed at St. Mary's Visitation Catholic Cemetery with military honors.
