Patricia Ann McVea, 78, of Holland, passed away Friday, July 8, 2016, at Appledorn Living Center.
Patricia was employed at Holland Furnace and Holland Hitch. In between working she stayed at home and helped raise her three children.
Patricia enjoyed reading, jigsaw puzzles, paint by numbers and decorating for Christmas. She was a huge fan of Elvis, visiting Graceland in 2007.
After 43 years of marriage she was preceded in death by her husband William C. McVea II in 2005.
She is survived by her children, William and Barbara McVea of Holland, Mark McVea of Douglas and Kathy and Kipp Hofmeyer of Holland; grandchildren, Wendy (Kathy Osterman) Forrester, William C. (Melissa) McVea III, Linda McVea, Kelseigh and Kerensa Hofmeyer; two great-grandchildren; brother and sister, Ken Koning of Holland and Marcia Greving of Holland; and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be Thursday, July 14, at 3 p.m., at Christ Memorial Chapel, 595 Graafschap Road in Holland. Visitation will be from 2 to 3 p.m. prior to the service. Please use entrance D. Reverend Bill Boersma will be officiating. Burial will be in Douglas Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be given to Hospice of Holland.
