Dennis (Denny) R. Allen, 75, of Fennville, formerly of Saugatuck, passed away Oct. 26, 2017, at home after a long battle with cancer. Born Sept. 7, 1942, in Holland, the son of Raymond and Doris (Peel) Allen.
He is survived by his wife Linda; son Troy; daughters, Doreen and Betty Lou; step-daughter Jennifer; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and brothers, Robert and Blair.
At Denny’s request, no services will be held, and following his wishes, cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will take place at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Cow Hill Yacht Club, P.O. Box 554, Saugatuck, MI 49453, with proceeds going to the “Salmon in the Classroom” program.
