Garry Davisson, 65, of Allegan passed away Thursday, Oct. 5, 2017, at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born Sept. 9, 1952, in Jackson to Nolan and Lois (Hughes) Davisson.
Garry was a retired project manager. He liked riding his motorcycle and was a member of the Gold Wing Road Riders Association. He also enjoyed fishing, golfing and listening to Rock and Roll music.
On Oct. 19, 1974, in Jackson, he married Patricia Stump who survives. Also surviving are his children, Bree (Kevin) Travis of Hopkins and Christopher (Roberta) Davisson of Detroit; grandchildren, Jarrod, Trenton, Hannaa, Chloe, Rhiannon, Nolan, Abby and Tomos; great-granddaughter Rose; his mother; sister Sharon (Brian) Bates; and brothers, Phillip, Paul and Greg (Val).
He was preceded in death by his father.
Friends may visit with Garry’s family from 1 to 4 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 8, at Winkel Funeral Home, Otsego, and from 10 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 11 a.m., Monday, Oct. 9, with Chaplin Greg Carlson officiating. Cremation will follow.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Garry may be made to the Susan Mast ALS Foundation or to the ALS Association Michigan Chapter.
