Douglas Roblyer, 75

Douglas Roblyer, 75, of Allegan, passed away Wednesday, April 5, 2017, in Grand Rapids.  
Doug was born Aug. 31, 1941, in Allegan, son of Leon and Verna (Rheynard) Roblyer.  He graduated from Otsego High School in 1960. Doug retired from Perrigo in Allegan after 25 years of service.  
On Sept. 9, 2005, he married Irene Morgan in Allegan. Doug enjoyed spending time in the outdoors, hunting, fishing and tending to the flower gardens with Irene. His feelings about cats changed over the years and three of his best buddies, Missy, Kid and Sam, were his favorite felines.
Survivors include his wife Irene; children, Brian (Dawn) Roblyer of Plainwell, Julie (Tom) Moore of Plainwell and Cyndi (Bruce) Zimmerman of Otsego and their mother Sandra Roblyer of Mattawan; step-children, James (Bert) Harris of Allegan and Richard (Pam) Harris of Mansfield, Ohio; 10 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and his sister Sally (Steve) Carpenter of Altamonte Springs, Fla.
Visitation will be Friday, April 7, from 5 to 7 p.m. at Winkel Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 8, at Hillside Cemetery, Gun Plain Township. Pastor Kari Fast of Hope Lutheran Church of Plainwell is officiating. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 100 W. Michigan, #210, Kalamazoo, MI  49007; The Alzheimer's Association, 2300 Portage St, Suite 341, Kalamazoo, MI  49007 or to a charity of the donor's choice.
