William Edsel Healy, 73, of Allegan passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2016, at his home in Allegan. He was born Feb. 5, 1943, in Windsor, Canada, the son of Leon M. and Theda C. (Barett) Healy.
William loved his family and was a dedicated employee at Lear Corporation in Holland for more than 20 years. He was also a member of the Allegan Eagles.
In his spare time, William enjoyed playing music, coin collecting or just being outside. He especially loved playing with his grandchildren.
William is survived by his children, Melissa Wells and Carol Henrickson, Rusty Wells and Kelli Steinman, Jeff and Tracy Wells, Amy Wells and John Hastings; seven grandchildren, Cora and Darin Edwards, Andrew, Elijah, Josh, Karlie, Austin and Chelsea; four great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Darin, Emma and Holly; two brothers, Allen Healy and Richard Healy; two sisters, Mary Pittman and Shirley; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife Barb; two brothers, Jack Healy and Jim Healy; and two sisters, Patricia and Dolores.
A gathering was Saturday, April 23, at the Allegan Eagles, 110 Chestnut St.
