Clair Fredrick Boylan, 73, formerly of Allegan, passed away on Monday, March 6, 2017, at his home in Manchester, Tenn.
Clair was born on July 12, 1943, to the late George Sr. and Dorothy (May) Boylan. He enjoyed fishing as well as showing and hunting coon hounds. He was a member of Rutledge Hill Community Church in Hillsboro, Tenn.
In addition to his parents, Clair was preceded in death by his wife Bernadine Boylan; son Michael Boylan; and brothers, Roger Boylan and Glen Boylan.
Surviving are his children, Robert and Margie Boylan and Kevin and Patty (Boylan) Butcher; grandchildren, Jamie, Bobby, Brenda, Justin, Clayton, Brandy, Sarah, Alexandra, Michael Dakota, Jeremiah, Brianna, Katrina and Joshua; many great-grandchildren; brothers, George Jr. and Harold; sisters, Gloria, Lois, Charlotte, Dorthea, and April; several cousins, nieces, nephews and many friends who loved and cared for him.
No service has been planned. His remains will be placed beside his wife and son at Brookside Cemetery in Heath Township in the spring.
