Vivian R. Roberts, 91, passed away Thursday, Nov. 17, 2016, at Trillium Woods in Byron Center.
Vivian was born Dec. 11, 1924, in Hopkins, the daughter of the late Martin and Elizabeth (Wamhoff) Pueschel. She graduated from Hopkins High School in 1942 and attended Davenport Business College.
On Sept. 1, 1952, she married Gale Roberts and they resided on the Robert's farm their entire married life. From 1956 until 1984, Vivian was employed in the personnel department at Rockwell International. She was also a charter member of Epiphany Lutheran Church in Dorr.
Vivian is survived by many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by eight siblings, Esther Pueschel, Bruno and Ruth Puschel, Ernest and Margaret Pueschel, Albert and Dorothy Puschel, Edgar and Hulda Puschel, Lily and Everette Duryee, Robert and Helen Pueschel, and Alma and Norwood Haveman.
Friends met with the family on Sunday, Nov. 20, at Gorden Funeral Residence, Hopkins Chapel. The funeral service will be Monday, Nov. 21, at 11 a.m. at Epiphany Lutheran Church in Dorr, Pastor David Fleming officiating. Interment will be at Poplar Hill Cemetery.
