Laurie Lynn Wilson, 57, of Lawrence, passed away surrounded by her loving family, Saturday, Dec. 5, 2020, at her home in Lawrence. She was born on March 16, 1963 in Plainwell, MI, the daughter of Joe and Shirley (Dunklee) Baldwin.
Laurie graduated from Plainwell (MI) High School. In 1983, she married the love of her life, Mark Robert Wilson. Laurie worked as a bookkeeper for Family Fare, as well as being a full-time wife and mother. She enjoyed traveling and taking short vacations a few times a year. Laurie adored her family and spending time with her grandchildren. She enjoyed playing Mrs. Claus around the holidays and partaking in anything that made life more fun for the family.
Surviving is her loving husband of 37 years, Mark Wilson; daughters, Terra (James) Bovee and Mindy (Allen) Carlsen; son, Mark Wilson, Jr.; 10 grandchildren, Zachary, Cadence, Connor, Gaige, Courtney, Ryan, Calleigh, Abigail, Emma, and Amelia; her parents, Joe and Shirley Baldwin; brothers, Joe (Sherry) Baldwin and Dave (Beth) Baldwin.
Laurie was preceded in death by three grandchildren, Kinzie, Jordan, and Emily; and a sister-in-law, Kathi Baldwin.
Friends and family were received Wednesday, Dec. 9, at Adams Funeral Home, 502 W. Michigan Ave., Paw Paw. A funeral service will be held today (Thursday, Dec. 10) at 1 p.m. at the funeral home, with the Rev. Lonny Carpenter officiating. Interment will follow at Wildey Cemetery, Paw Paw.
