LaMoine Curtis, 82, of Paw Paw, passed away Friday, Nov. 13, 2020. He was born March 16, 1938, in Paw Paw, the son of the late James Curtis and Lillian Marie(Waite) Curtis.
LaMoine dedicated many years of his life in auto body repair. In later years, he enjoyed rebuilding and tinkering with vintage garden tractors in his spare time.
On, April 8, 1961, he married Judith (Stevens) Curtis, who preceded him in death.
He is survived by his two sons, Scott (Karen) Curtis of Mattawan and Bradley (Sandy) Curtis of Paw Paw; daughter, Darci (Michael) Chilla of Gobles; seven grandchildren, Ryan (Shannah) Curtis, Kelly (Camer-on) Brunson, Corey Curtis, Kim (Michael) Sinke, Ashley (Alex) Delich, Emily Chilla and Justin Chilla; nine great-grandchildren; brother, Phil (Gwen) Curtis; sister, Sid Shank, along with many nieces and nephews; and his longtime companion, Betty Turner.
LaMoine was also preceded in death by his brother, Jack Curtis.
Cremation has taken place. LaMoine will be laid to rest at Wildey Cemetery, Paw Paw, at a later date.
